Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join our team as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Florida OB-GYN Department. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in advancing our educational mission, providing exceptional patient care, and contributing to the growth and development of our department.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical care to patients in a dynamic and growing academic health center
  • Apply creativity to program growth and development, supporting our teaching, research, and clinical care missions
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and objectives
  • Teach junior medical students and participate in departmental activities, including rounds, special lectures, and postgraduate courses
  • Contribute to scholarly activities, including research and quality initiatives, as appropriate for experience and interests
Requirements
  • Board eligible/certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and eligible for a Florida Medical License
  • Terminal doctoral degree in a clinical science, such as an MD or DO degree
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of effective strategies for working with diverse faculty, staff, and students, and a commitment to diversity in the educational community
