Assistant General Manager

The Assistant General Manager is a key member of our hotel management team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Front Office Manager and Director of Housekeeping to provide support for hotel staff and ensure all brand standards are met.
- Assist the General Manager in directing and leading all hotel operations, focusing on delivering high levels of guest service.
- Support the management of financial expenses, ensuring all expenses stay within budget.
- Identify capital needs and support the maintenance of the hotel's overall condition.
- Develop and implement guest satisfaction programs for housekeeping and front desk.
- Assist with reservations and guest inquiries, as needed.
- Review team schedules and lead all aspects of hotel departments, including Security, Engineering, Reservations, and property interfaces.
- Lead, train, and develop a team of high-performing hotel department managers.
- Work closely with Restaurants + Bars, Catering, Sales, and Banquets to ensure all guest needs are met.
- 3+ years of management experience in hospitality.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of integrity.
- Experience with Opera and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
- A genuine passion for guest service.
- Outstanding organizational abilities and skill for taking initiative, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and prioritizing.
- Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
