Our Global Platform organization is responsible for the infrastructure that supports Snowflake's global control center, both for our company and our customers. We're looking for an experienced software engineer to partner with engineering leadership and drive vision and strategy for the global platform.

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will:

  • Ensure operational readiness of the services we provide
  • Influence the industry by creating competitive advantages for our customers

We're looking for someone with 15+ years of industry experience designing, building, and supporting distributed systems and large-scale data processing systems in production. You should have a strong foundation in computer science, a deep appreciation for building end-to-end customer-facing products, and fluency in Java and SQL.
