Principal Software Security Architect

At Snowflake Computing, we're seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Security Architect to lead our efforts in designing and implementing secure-by-default solutions for our cloud-based products and infrastructure.

This role requires a strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including documentation, testing, and observability. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of growing and leading small teams, and will be able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have expert experience with secure-by-default architecture, and will be able to design and write program specifications for self and others. They will also be able to work across team boundaries, reach consensus amongst disparate viewpoints, and graciously receive feedback.

We're looking for someone who is self-starting and independent, able to manage and drive projects to completion based on designed specifications. The successful candidate will also have a strong understanding of security testing tools and techniques, and will be able to lead with data and scalable solutions in everything they do.

Responsibilities will include designing and implementing distributed software systems with robust APIs, as well as experience with production service development in Go. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of Kubernetes and Infrastructure-as-code, and will be able to build scalable and concurrent web applications.
