Position Overview:

As a Bilingual Leasing Consultant for our apartment communities in a demanding environment, you will be instrumental in attracting and retaining residents while prioritizing accountability and exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include showcasing our properties to prospective residents, addressing their questions and concerns, and guiding them through the leasing journey. This position requires resilience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accountability:

  • Take charge of the leasing process from beginning to end, ensuring that all tasks are executed accurately and efficiently.
  • Keep detailed records of interactions with prospective residents, lease agreements, and move-in/move-out procedures.
  • Follow leasing policies and procedures as well as fair housing regulations to ensure compliance and minimize risk.

2. Exceptional Customer Service:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both prospective and current residents, fostering rapport and trust through timely and effective communication.
  • Conduct property tours and present apartment homes in an engaging and informative manner, emphasizing features and amenities that align with prospective residents' needs.
  • Promptly and professionally address inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests, consistently exceeding resident expectations.

3. Marketing and Outreach:

  • Design and implement innovative marketing strategies to attract prospective residents to our properties, utilizing both traditional and digital channels.
  • Establish relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders to generate referrals and increase leasing traffic.
  • Participate in community events and networking functions to promote our properties and connect with potential residents.

4. Lease Administration:

  • Assist prospective residents with the application process, screening applicants, and conducting background checks in line with company policies.
  • Prepare and finalize lease agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with leasing regulations and best practices.
  • Coordinate move-in/move-out procedures, performing unit inspections and facilitating a seamless transition for residents.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales, marketing, or real estate is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in leasing, sales, or customer service, ideally within the multifamily housing sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with diverse audiences.
  • Resilience and adaptability to succeed in a challenging environment, with a solutions-oriented mindset and a commitment to achieving objectives.
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations, as well as leasing best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and property management software.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of insurance.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
