Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Job Summary:

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to provide skilled nursing care to patients in the home setting. As a LVN, you will work independently with a flexible schedule, providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow the plan of care and provide treatments as defined in the State's Nurse Practice Act
  • Implement the plan of care initiated by the registered nurse
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation consistent with the plan of care
  • Assess and provide patient and family/caregiver education and information pertinent to diagnosis and plan of care
  • Prepare and coordinate clinical notes and progress notes

Requirements:

  • Current CA Vocational Nurse License
  • 1 year of experience is a plus
  • Pediatric experience is a plus
  • We accept new grads under the Flex Waiver Program
  • Current PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
  • Current State license, CPR certification, and valid driver's license (local travel required)
