Licensed Vocational Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at Desert Valley Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in Southern California. As a key member of our Maternal Child Health department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our hospital's commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect patient care services, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to maintain safety, comfort, and overall patient experience.
- Collaborate with Registered Nurses to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring effective communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient outcomes.
- Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- BLS certification within 30 days and maintain current.
- NRP certification within 90 days and maintain current.
- Basic Fetal monitoring certificate required 60 days and maintain current.
- IV certification upon hire; Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification, required.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $25.00 to $36.21. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
