Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse

At STARS Behavioral Health Group, we are committed to providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health needs. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in Victorville, CA.

About the Role:

The LVN will provide direct client care, including medication administration and supervision of nursing activities. This role requires a strong understanding of psychiatric nursing principles and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and document administration according to physician orders
  • Supervise nursing activities performed by professional and para-professional nursing personnel
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients
  • Monitor and maintain accurate nursing documentation in the medical record
Requirements:
  • Valid California LVN license
  • Current CPR certification
  • First Aid certification from a qualified agency
  • One year of experience treating mentally ill clients in an inpatient setting (preferred)
  • One year of medication administration experience (required)
