Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Worker to join our team at the Wilson Workforce and Rehabilitation Center (WWRC). As a Grounds Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining the beauty and functionality of our campus grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform grounds maintenance, including mowing, pruning, and planting trees, shrubs, and flowers.
  • Operate a variety of equipment, such as trucks, tractors, forklifts, mowers, and hand and power tools.
  • Assist with seasonal needs, outdoor trash collection, and special events.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance across various trade areas, including housekeeping, carpentry, and painting.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of grounds care and maintenance, including horticulture practices.
  • Experience in grounds maintenance activities.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
Working Conditions

This is a wage (part-time) position, working on average 30-32 hours a week. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
