  • Collaborate with engineering and news teams to facilitate the production elements involved in live newscasts.
  • Oversee the technical aspects of newscast production, including camera operation, lighting, and audio.
  • Work closely with the Assistant Chief Engineer and Director of Engineering to ensure seamless execution of live broadcasts.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience working as a newscast director or technical director at a commercial television station.
  • Strong knowledge of broadcast operations and production activities.
  • Experience operating various types of production broadcast equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make timely decisions during live broadcasts.

Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred but not required.
  • Must have a solid background in broadcast television systems and equipment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and shifts, including holidays and weekends.
