This is a hybrid role, requiring in-person attendance three days a week and remote work for two days.
This is not a fully remote position.
TrueCare, a Federally Qualified Health Center with over 50 years of experience serving underserved communities in North County San Diego and Riverside, is expanding its Grants Team.
Location: San Marcos Corporate offices
Schedule: M-F 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Under the supervision of the Director of Grants, the Grant Writer II will enhance organizational growth through the research, assessment, and creation of high-quality, mission-driven proposals for timely grant submissions from various funding sources, including government entities, nonprofit organizations, foundations, and for-profit opportunities.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a healthcare-related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in grant writing, ideally within a FQHC or nonprofit health environment.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and county grant writing processes.
- Proficient in MS Office software, with the ability to create graphs, diagrams, and flowcharts.
- A Master's degree is preferred.
- A Certificate in Grant Writing is also preferred.

If you are hired at TrueCare, your final base salary (within the pay range) will be determined based on factors such as education, knowledge, skills, and experience. Additionally, we value pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members when determining any final offer. Please note that the range mentioned above represents the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical to allow for future salary growth. We also provide generous benefits and retirement plans.
