Job Summary:

The Grant Writer I will work under the direction of the Director of Grants to develop and submit proposals for grants from government, nonprofit, foundations, and for-profit funding opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grant writing, preferably in a FQHC or nonprofit health context, and experience with federal, state, and county grant writing.

Responsibilities:
  • Research and evaluate funding opportunities to identify potential grants for submission.
  • Develop and write high-quality proposals that meet the requirements of funding sources.
  • Collaborate with the Grants Team to ensure timely submission of proposals.
  • Provide support to the Director of Grants in the development of grant strategies and proposals.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in grant writing regulations and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree; preferably in healthcare.
  • Minimum of 3 years of grant writing experience, preferably in a FQHC or nonprofit health context.
  • Experience with federal, state, and county grant writing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software, ability to design graphs, diagrams, and flow charts.

TrueCare offers a competitive salary range of $68,091.00 to $98,061.00 Annually, as well as generous benefits and retirement plans.
