About the Role:This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients and community. As a Grant Writer, you will be responsible for researching and identifying funding opportunities, writing and submitting grant proposals, and building relationships with funders. You will work closely with our Advancement, Programs, and Finance teams to develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy.
Key Responsibilities:- Research and identify funding opportunities for our programs and services
- Write and submit grant proposals to government, corporate, and private foundation funders
- Build and maintain relationships with funders, including government agencies, corporations, and private foundations
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy
- Monitor and report on grant progress and outcomes
- 4+ years of fundraising and/or nonprofit experience
- Demonstrated success in securing private, corporate, and/or multi-year government grants
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage a high volume of requests and projects with competing deadlines
- Knowledgeable of applicable laws, regulations, rules, and best practices in fundraising and philanthropy
