Senior Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiation Therapist to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and treatment in our Radiation Oncology department.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients using linear accelerators and other equipment
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals
- Conduct quality assurance checks on radiation therapy equipment to ensure accurate and safe treatment delivery
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on radiation therapy and treatment options
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and treatment
- ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Radiation Therapist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Knowledge of radiation oncology procedures and radiation physics
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish and/or Vietnamese
- Experience in computer informatics/networking associated with radiation oncology practices
