About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at St. Joseph Hospital-Orange. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in the delivery of high-quality patient care, working closely with our Radiation Oncologists to administer radiation therapy treatments and simulation procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and prepare radiation therapy treatments and simulation procedures for patients of all ages, including infants, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist, ensuring adherence to radiation safety practices.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest radiation therapy techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Satisfactory completion of a program of formal education in radiation therapy.
  • National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
  • California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire, or California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience in radiation therapy or a related field.
  • Pediatric experience.
