Nurse Supervisor - RN - Registered Nurse

We are currently seeking a dedicated Nurse Supervisor - RN - Registered Nurse.

Position Details:

  • Full-Time Evenings: Monday - Friday; 8-hour evening shifts available.

Qualifications for Nurse Supervisor - RN - Registered Nurse:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Active RN licensure from the Kentucky State Board of Nursing.
  • BLS certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in nursing supervision or management within Long-Term Care settings.
  • Proficiency in the English language is required.
  • Compliance with state law mandates a criminal background check as a condition of employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, assess, and guide all resident care, implementing corrective measures as needed.
  • Conduct daily rounds and provide formal reports to the Director of Nursing Services and/or Assistant Director of Nursing.
  • Analyze QA monitors for the department and create corrective action plans.
  • Investigate medication discrepancies or shortages and compile reports for the Director of Nursing.
  • Review all consultations by the Psychiatrist and summarize resident progress, notifying staff of scheduled visits.
  • Offer clinical oversight to nurses, aides, and resident assistants engaged in direct care.
  • Conduct AIMS testing and follow up on any irregular findings.
  • Ensure proper orientation and on-the-job training for nursing staff and aides.
