Nurse Supervisor - RN - Registered Nurse

We are currently seeking a Nurse Supervisor - RN - Registered Nurse to oversee nursing operations.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Full-Time Evenings; Monday - Friday; 8-hour shifts available.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Active RN licensure in Kentucky.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in nursing supervision or management within Long-Term Care settings.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Compliance with state law mandates a criminal background check prior to employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and evaluate all aspects of resident care, implementing corrective measures as needed.
- Conduct daily rounds and provide formal reports to the Director of Nursing Services and/or Assistant Director of Nursing.
- Receive and analyze QA monitors for the department, formulating plans for improvement.
- Investigate medication discrepancies and prepare detailed reports for the Director of Nursing.
- Review psychiatrist visits and summarize resident progress, notifying staff of scheduled appointments.
- Offer clinical oversight to nursing staff, aides, and resident assistants engaged in direct care.
- Conduct AIMS testing and follow up on any irregularities.
- Ensure proper orientation and training for nursing staff and aides.
