Job Overview:
The Technical Solutions Delivery team is dedicated to the comprehensive provision of infrastructure solutions for our clientele.
In collaboration with the CIO teams, the Technical Project Lead/Solution Architect will be responsible for delivering an infrastructure solution that is technically robust, resilient to disruptions, operationally manageable, and aligned with business requirements.
The successful delivery of the infrastructure solution necessitates a diverse skill set, including infrastructure architecture, hands-on implementation and configuration of the infrastructure, as well as the installation and configuration of applications, coupled with project technical leadership capabilities to ensure timely and within-scope project completions.
A high level of collaboration with developers, third-party vendors, database engineers, and other infrastructure teams is essential to maintain agility within a structured delivery process.
The ideal candidate will adopt a consultative approach, demonstrate strong leadership qualities, be forward-thinking, and possess the ability to work effectively across various technical and non-technical groups within a diverse and talented team.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead cross-functional project teams to design and implement highly available multi-tier Windows or Cloud applications.
- Collaborate across business and technical domains to develop Infrastructure/System Engineering Designs for internally hosted solutions.
- Execute solutions by creating automation processes for deploying systems, applications, containers, and associated technologies.
- Serve as the primary infrastructure liaison for business units and operations teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership for project assignments.
- Document the technical design for Project and Operations teams as part of project deliverables.
- Develop scripts/automation for repeatable processes.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience utilizing a consultative approach while engaging with clients and relevant stakeholders to analyze, validate, specify, verify, document, and manage requirements.
- Current enterprise-class infrastructure and system engineering experience with Windows/SQL and cloud-based platforms.- Proficiency in automation or script development, with a preference for Powershell.
- Familiarity with automated systems builds and configuration management tools, including VRO, Terraform, SCCM, SCO, etc.
- Understanding of networking protocols and components.
- Experience in designing and implementing High Availability, Active/Active, and Disaster Recovery solutions.
- Experience working within a matrix team composed of various infrastructure engineers, development teams, and client relationship teams.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.- Capability to produce high-quality operational documentation, including Visio diagrams, high-level descriptions of the environment, and detailed instructions for replicating the build-out and configuration of the infrastructure.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code deployments, CI/CD, etc.Benefits:
