About the Opportunity

Williams International is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to support the management of projects from start to finish with high quality output.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with resource managers to manage and direct assigned program resources to best meet program objectives.
  • Work closely with project leadership to maintain schedule and scope.
  • Aid manufacturing leadership to support development of discrepancy-free processes with PPAP verification.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering.
  • Practical project and engineering design, analysis, and manufacturing job knowledge and skills gained with a minimum of 5 years of prior related work experience.
  • Highly motivated and organized individual who is approachable, a natural planner, and a decision maker.
  • The ability to summarize and present the critical elements of a program, as well as its current status and future plans, is essential.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong experience in both analytical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency using NX with Teamcenter.
  • Possess a working knowledge of gas turbine engines with an intermediate to advanced knowledge of turbomachinery failure modes.
  • Knowledge of gas turbine engine hardware and associated manufacturing techniques.
  • Comprehension of electro-mechanical components and Electrical and Mechanical Engineering principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint).
  • Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches).
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
