Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the international and domestic legal aspects of quarterly and annual global US GAAP tax provisions.
  • Manage quarterly FIN18, soft-close, and year-end close processes, including the preparation of quarterly and annual review analytics.
  • Ensure timely provision of documentation to financial auditors and efficient management of audit procedures concerning international tax matters.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quarterly and annual processes, particularly in minimizing the workload of non-tax teams.
  • Prepare comprehensive US GAAP documentation, including APB23 and VA memoranda, and manage non-US aspects of DTA and DTL positions.
  • Collect and prepare any documentation requested by financial auditors related to international tax matters.
  • Review international tax aspects of all M&A related disclosures and documentation.
  • Support modeling efforts related to international law provisions and perform reviews of US international calculations.
  • Provide necessary inputs for US tax returns regarding international law aspects.
  • Document and analyze the elimination of non-US legal entities and legacy arrangements.
  • Maintain tracking of US tax attributes and ensure timely updates.
  • Lead a team of 2-4 members, defining roles and responsibilities aligned with the broader tax team.
  • Oversee training, development, assessment, and mentoring of team members.

What We Are Looking For

  • 15+ years of relevant experience in non-US tax, US international tax, and ASC740.
  • Experience working within cross-functional teams and building relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to articulate complex tax issues to senior management.
  • Strong analytical and solutions-focused mindset with a results-oriented approach.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven project management capabilities with experience leading internal tax teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A collaborative team player.
