Senior Content Specialist

Reporting to the Albany Med Health System Vice President for Communications and Marketing, the Senior Content Specialist will serve as the department's lead on the Columbia Memorial Health (CMH) campus in Hudson. They will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the System's main Communications and Marketing office in Albany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of content for the web, social media, and publications.
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with various departments/divisions/units within Albany Med to optimize the work of the Department.
  • Manage the representation of CMH in brand identity and community visibility.
  • Work with CMH and System leadership on advertising plans for key services.
  • Develop unique story ideas that advance CMH and the Albany Med Health System.
  • Maintain an editorial calendar and coordinate projects that regularly provide engaging content.
  • Evaluate requests for placement on appropriate platforms.
  • Manage a budget and other operational responsibilities.
  • Analyze data to evaluate the success of initiatives and create strategic recommendations for digital platforms.
  • Manage multiple projects at once and work well under deadlines.
  • Continuing to grow as a communications and marketing professional by remaining informed about CMH, the Albany Med Health System, the health care field, and local and national news.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends in communications and public relations.
