Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the event staff from setup through to breakdown, ensuring seamless service delivery.
* Engage with clients on event days to guarantee their expectations are met.
* Conduct pre-event meetings with staff to clarify event specifications and roles.
* Review event function sheets meticulously to prepare for upcoming events.
* Ensure the event space is set up according to the specifications outlined in the function sheet.
* Collaborate closely with the culinary team to coordinate food service and presentation.
* Maintain high standards of food presentation and portion control throughout events.
* Greet guests prior to the start of each function and remain present to address any needs during the event.


Qualifications:
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in banquet service or a related field.
* Proficient knowledge of food and beverage service, with at least two years in front-of-house roles.
* Strong communication skills in English.
* Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining composure under pressure.
* Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 50 pounds.
* Flexible availability, including weekends.
