Position Overview

Are you ready to advance your career in a supportive team setting? Horizon Farm Credit is looking for a dedicated Loan Processor to become part of our Farm Credit EXPRESS (FCE) team. This role is essential in supporting our mission to enhance agricultural and rural communities.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Loan Processor, your primary duties will include the following:

Loan Processing
  • Manage the loan application process from initiation to closure, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Evaluate credit applications and monitor the credit delivery process.
  • Address any discrepancies and alerts as per compliance requirements.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to loan processing.
Documentation
  • Prepare all necessary legal documents for loan closure.
  • Conduct pre-closing reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Handle administrative functions associated with document preparation.
Closing Procedures
  • Verify that all conditions are satisfied prior to closing.
  • Process necessary financial entries for accurate loan accounting.
  • Conduct post-closing reviews to confirm the integrity of closed packages.
Customer Engagement
  • Provide exceptional service to clients and partners, ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
  • Communicate effectively with dealership staff to gather required information.
Transaction Management
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions throughout the loan process.
  • Ensure adherence to turnaround times and workflow management.
  • Support team members to enhance customer service delivery.
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Experience in loan processing is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in computer applications relevant to the role.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
