About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vocational Specialist to join our team. As a Vocational Specialist, you will be responsible for administration of a personnel placement activity which includes program planning, development, maintenance, compliance, and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directs and monitors PACT employment placement program for PACT clients.
  • Contacts and informs prospective employers about the program.
  • Monitors program placement policies and procedures for compliance with federal and state guidelines.
  • Performs prevocational assessments of clients for jobs.
  • Works with Supervisor with Time Study and other employment contracts.
  • Assigns clients to job coach for coaching and support.
  • Teaches job seeking skill classes.
  • Coordinates client vocational meetings.
  • Serves as liaison on program matters with voc rehab and other agencies.
  • Transports clients must have personal vehicle, valid vehicle insurance, and driver's license.
  • Participates in in-service training as directed by immediate supervisor.
  • Assists clients with getting appropriate clothing, resumes, etc. for job placement.
  • Performs medication delivery, works rotating weekday and weekends, and must pass medication test.
  • Assumes other mental health duties as assigned by management.
