We are currently seeking a talented Press Operator who thrives in dynamic environments. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, eager to cross-train on various presses to enhance our production capabilities and support our growth. Successful candidates typically have experience in several areas of press operation, including but not limited to: printing press operation, lamination, cutting, DOD, embossing, foil stamping, plate creation, prepress, or similar roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail to ensure the correct format, appearance, spelling, and layout of text and images before commencing production.
  • Analyze job orders to make necessary adjustments to the printing machinery.
  • Install components and supplies such as ink rollers, screens, and printing plates according to job specifications.
  • Conduct tests on inks and paints to verify their suitability for the printing surface.
  • Oversee the production of printed materials to ensure compliance with specifications and timelines.
  • Perform routine maintenance on the printing press and related machinery.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and address them directly or coordinate with service providers as needed.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the printing press and associated equipment.

Your Shift:

  • 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced setting while working independently to achieve optimal output.
  • Willingness to learn and operate multiple presses during shifts.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.

Desired Experience: (not mandatory, but beneficial)

  • At least 2 years of experience in a printing environment.
  • Experience as a Press Operator, particularly with HP Indigo or similar technologies.
  • Familiarity with DOD equipment and other technologies for card encoding.
  • Experience with PRECO die cutting or laminating is advantageous.
