Job Summary:

A critical role for an IT Consultant – Exchange/O365 Administrator is available at Entergy. This position involves management, oversight, and maintenance of the Exchange environment supporting a robust cross-functional userbase of 15K+ users. The Exchange/O365 environment is crucial to the successful operations across Entergy, and the Exchange Administrator plays a vital role in its maintenance and future-state planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily responsibilities to manage and maintain Microsoft Exchange servers and related infrastructure, both on-premises and in M365 Exchange Online.

Troubleshoot, with cross-functional teams, Microsoft Exchange issues and escalations.

Review regular system monitoring, verifying completion of scheduled jobs.

Provide tier 2 and 3 support for Exchange and messaging related issues.

Assist users with email configuration, access issues, and troubleshooting.

Maintain user accounts, distribution groups, resources, and permissions.

Implement and manage email security protocols.

Requirements:

BS/BA degree strongly preferred in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or other technical area of study.

6+ years of experience as an Exchange Administrator or similar role.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server.

Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Azure.

Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.

Working knowledge of email security standards and practices.

Understanding of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls.

Specific and direct experience with at least one ticketing system (Service Now, Remedy, HEAT, etc.).
