Radiology Specialist Job Description

As a Radiology Specialist in the US Army, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating injuries and diseases using X-ray and related equipment. This is a unique opportunity to serve your country while developing your skills and expertise in medical imaging.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a range of radiographic examinations, including body section radiography, foreign body localization, and prenatal and pediatric imaging.
  • Operate and maintain radiology equipment, including fixed and portable X-ray machines.
  • Prepare and assemble instruments, materials, and equipment for radiographic procedures.
  • Inspect and perform routine maintenance on radiology equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Training and Benefits:

Requirements:
  • Between 17-34 years old.
  • No felonies (deferred adjudication included).

  • Pass the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test.
