Translational Research Scientist

Job Description
The Ragon Institute, affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital, MIT, and Harvard Medical School, seeks a skilled Translational Research Scientist to join the Kwon Lab. In this role, you will collaborate with the Principal Investigator to develop and execute a research program addressing critical health questions.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and implement a translational research program, leveraging lab resources
- Supervise and mentor trainees at all levels, fostering their growth and independence
- Communicate research findings through publications and conference presentations
- Contribute to strategic planning for the broader group
- Perform administrative duties related to lab management and culture development
Essential Requirements
- Doctorate degree in immunology, bioinformatics, microbiology, or related field with 3+ years of postdoctoral experience
- Experience in mentoring and management
- Demonstrated ability to identify and develop talent
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- High-impact publications as first or senior author
Estimated Salary: $160,000 - $190,000 per year
