Job Overview

Brookstone Builders Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead our construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects, meeting client expectations, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Oversee the pre-construction process, including project buy-out, scheduling, and site preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and industry standards.
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field staff to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure high-quality workmanship and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records, including daily reports, time sheets, and field documentation.
  • Provide training and guidance to field staff on safety procedures, quality control, and project protocols.
  • Participate in project meetings, including weekly project meetings and tool box talks.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent in private and government work.
  • Experience in ground-up construction and working in occupied buildings.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contract drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with construction/project software and comfortable with computers, mobile devices, and printers/copiers.
  • Valid driver's license and OSHA 30 Certificate.
  • Ability to pass a drug test, motor vehicle background check, and security background check.
  • CPR/First Aid Certificate.

Salary: $90,000.00 per year
