Project Manager Position:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Manager located in Manchester, NH. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

Responsible for future sales through building and maintaining relationships with clients, project managers, job superintendents, engineers, architects and vendors.


Has all knowledge of their projects, but not limited to, Safety, scope, proposal, special instructions and overall method of construction as interpreted by the estimator.


Demonstrates the ability to effectively manage situations to benefit the company, maintain customer relationships and maximize profits.


Ability to pro-actively resolve and prepare for situations that may become issues in the future; can develop a plan to address the situation in a way that supports the business and the customer relationship.


Ensures that all subcontracts/PO’s to subcontractors and vendors are made with proper documentation in a manner that meets the needs of NHSF’s and its clients.


Acts as a liaison between detailers, architects and engineers; documents any communications that affect schedule, price, changes or special agreements or RFI’s.


Ensures all communications, both internally and externally, are followed through in a manner that guarantees all necessary vendors, suppliers, engineers, architects, detailers along with shop and field management are proceeding according to plans and schedules.


Expedites all change orders and finalizes with client promptly, including all necessary documentation.


Reviews project status with financial information and reconciles all discrepancies.


Reviews and approves all invoices from detailers, erectors, outside vendors and processes to accounting department.


Ensures proper timely monthly billing to client


Follows up with field labor/Superintendent on a daily basis.


Interfaces with field foreman weekly to ensure all plans and communications are current and applicable.


Coordinates all deliveries from the shop and vendors; ensures that proper paperwork with needs are communicated for a proper delivery and are within planned schedules.


Responsible for all project closeouts and all necessary information as it relates to billing and documentation.


Reviews and follows up with clients on all past due payments.

Required to follow NHSF’s/NHSE’s policy for site Safety which includes wearing all required PPE.


Required to travel to site project sites for weekly/bi weekly job meetings with clients and other trades affecting project scope.


Required to attend mandatory weekly in house meeting with Senior Project Manager to discuss/solve issues/problems and contribute to a plan on items that come up on daily basis. 



Qualifications

  • Associates degree or higher in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management
  • Experience in construction or steel fabrication industries is a plus
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Timberline, Excel.
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
  • Experience with Agile project management methodology is a plus
