Job Title: Contract Manager

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our team at Brightidea. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our contract renewal process, ensuring smooth operations and fostering long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Renewal Management: Oversee the end-to-end renewal process for all SaaS contracts, develop and execute strategies to maximize renewal rates and revenue growth, and prepare and review contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the renewal phase, address client inquiries, resolve issues, and negotiate terms to ensure mutual satisfaction.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with customer success and finance teams to streamline the renewal process and address any contractual or financial concerns, provide insights and recommendations to improve the renewal process and enhance client experience, and coordinate with the customer success team to understand client needs and tailor renewal offers accordingly.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all renewal contracts, amendments, and correspondence, generate regular reports on renewal performance, including metrics on renewal rates, revenue, and client feedback, and ensure all contract documentation is up-to-date and compliant with company standards.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Monitor and manage contract compliance to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to terms and conditions, identify potential issues or discrepancies and work with relevant teams to resolve them promptly.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field: A degree in a relevant field is required, and an advanced degree or certification in contract management is a plus.
  • Prior experience in contract management: We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in contract management, preferably in the SaaS industry.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills: You will be working closely with clients and internal teams, so strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and CRM tools: You should be proficient in contract management software and CRM tools, and be able to adapt quickly to new systems.
