Job Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist Transport Team Specialist provides quality respiratory care to patients, including routine and complex procedures, using a wide variety of techniques and equipment. This role collaborates with the multidisciplinary team and communicates effectively with others to ensure patient care meets quality standards established by the hospital, department, and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities:

* Provide quality respiratory care to patients, including routine and complex procedures, using a wide variety of techniques and equipment.
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient care meets quality standards established by the hospital, department, and regulatory agencies.
* Communicate effectively with others to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:

* Associate's Degree
* Current Florida Respiratory Therapist Licensure
* Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NRBC)
* Must be a graduate of a Registered Respiratory Therapy Program approved by the Commission of Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)
* Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
* Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association or must be obtained within 120-day orientation period
* Current NRP certification if working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Salary and Benefits:

* Salary Range: Minimum $29.74 per hour - Maximum $47.58 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
