About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Professional to join our team at Shasta Community Health Center.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare services to patients, working closely with our medical staff and supervisors to ensure excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including histories and physical exams, to diagnose and treat various health conditions.
  • Order diagnostic tests and implement treatment measures as necessary, adhering to scope of practice guidelines.
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians to address complex cases or unfamiliar areas of patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providing education and answering questions to promote informed decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in peer review processes to ensure high standards of care.
Requirements
  • Completion of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
  • California license to practice medicine upon hire and ongoing maintenance without limitations.
  • Current certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Inc., or American Nurses' Association.
  • CPR certification upon hire and ongoing maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in an outpatient clinic or doctor's office setting.
  • ACLS certification, BCLS certification.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $113,100 - $146,900 per year, reflecting the estimated annual compensation based on industry standards and geographic location.
