Public Health Nurse Supervisor Position in Shasta County

We are seeking a Public Health Nurse Supervisor to lead our team in providing comprehensive public health services and case management to community members. This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team and contribute to improving the health and well-being of Shasta County residents.
Job DescriptionThe Public Health Nurse Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a team of public health nurses and support staff, providing guidance and leadership to ensure effective delivery of public health services. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and evaluating the work of public health nurses and support staff;
- Developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives;
- Providing training and education to staff on public health nursing practices and policies;
- Collaborating with other departments and agencies to achieve shared goals and objectives;
- Maintaining accurate records and reports, including statistical analysis and data interpretation.
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field;
- Three years of experience as a registered nurse, with at least one year in a supervisory role;
- A valid California driver's license and a good driving record;
- Certification as a Public Health Nurse (PHN) in the State of California.
The annual salary for this position is $92,343 - $124,542, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans, as well as paid time off and holidays.
