Expert Telemetry Nurse Required for Shasta Regional Medical Center

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telemetry RN to join our team at Shasta Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our medical center.
About the RoleThis is a 13-week contract opportunity that offers the chance to gain diverse experiences and develop your skills in a fast-paced clinical environment. You will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with acute cardiac conditions, utilizing your expertise in telemetry monitoring and critical thinking to make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized patient care, assessing and prioritizing patient needs based on severity of condition
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, identifying potential cardiovascular issues and taking appropriate action
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a telemetry setting
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and compassion
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems and other relevant technology
