Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our enteral nutrition team at UNC Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and dietitians to provide comprehensive care to patients requiring enteral nutrition.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain and review patient health and medical history, perform thorough physical assessments, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Prescribe and order evidence-based pharmacological agents, schedule follow-up management, and maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, lead interdisciplinary teams, and develop new clinical programs or services to improve patient care.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, staff, and students to promote continuity and patient-centered care, and provide education and instruction to physicians, house staff, nursing, ancillaries, and students.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
  • Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Certified Nurse Midwife) in the state of North Carolina.
  • Board certification if required by the Department.
  • DEA.
