The Payroll Specialist will ensure payroll is processed accurately and on schedule, while adhering to all relevant laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately calculate and process payroll for all personnel, including regular and overtime hours, bonuses, commissions, and other earnings, ensuring adjustments are made based on timesheets and pertinent data.
- Support internal and external audits by supplying necessary payroll information and ensuring adherence to audit standards.

- Manage employee deductions and withholdings for taxes, insurance, retirement plans, and additional benefits.
- Maintain precise and organized payroll documentation, including employee wage and hour records, tax forms, and other payroll-related information.
- Review and confirm the accuracy of payroll data, encompassing hours worked, overtime, bonuses, and commissions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll issues.
- Collaborate with the HR department to maintain accurate employee records.
- Assist with year-end payroll tasks, including W-2 preparation.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, including debits, credits, and journal entries.
- Proficiency in technical accounting concepts related to payroll processing.
- Experience with Paycom payroll software is preferred.
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes.
- Understanding of financial concepts related to payroll and benefits administration.
- Knowledge of corporate accounting practices and procedures.

Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a comparable role.
- Strong understanding of payroll practices, laws, and regulations.
- Ability to work independently while managing confidential information with care.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
