Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the food industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals.
- Provide excellent customer service and support.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to network and generate leads.
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.
- Manage and update the CRM system.
- Provide feedback to management on market conditions and client needs.
- Must have food service experience and selling to bagel shops is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with B2B sales in the food service industry.
- Expected to be in their territory on a daily basis starting as early as 6:00AM to capture the right customer base.
- Must have a focused approach in the areas of Manhattan, Long Island, and Queens.
