Job Title: Student Tech Assistant PRN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Student Tech Assistant PRN to join our Imaging Services team at Coffee Regional Medical Center. As a Student Tech Assistant PRN, you will play a vital role in supporting our imaging services by transporting patients, assisting technologists, and communicating with physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport patients to and from Imaging Services, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Assist technologists in acquiring medical information for patient studies, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with physicians.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to provide excellent customer service.
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient patient flow and timely completion of tasks.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current CPR certification (transporters).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software.

Working Conditions:

This role requires the ability to move freely, reach, bend, and complete light lifting. The Student Tech Assistant PRN must be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
