Job Description

Columbus Equipment Company is a family-owned business with a commitment to excellence in product support and customer service. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Parts Counter Customer Service Representative.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while maximizing parts sales. This includes receiving and processing incoming shipments, pulling customer orders, and locating needed parts quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide excellent customer service and maximize parts sales
  • Receive and process incoming shipments
  • Pull customer orders and pack for shipment
  • Locate needed parts quickly and efficiently
  • Communicate with customers regarding parts pricing and expected arrival dates
  • Inform customers of any delays or changes in expected arrival dates
  • Maintain a clean and organized parts showroom
  • Follow company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Safe driving record
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of PC hardware and software
  • Understanding of manufacturers' products and policies
  • Detail-oriented and organized

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for long periods and manage stress
  • Ability to use computers and office machines
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds regularly and repeatedly
