Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Manager to lead our fitness program in a beautiful senior living community in Chapel Hill, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and fitness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and engage our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement fitness programs and initiatives to stimulate participation and encourage new members
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure high-quality service and programming
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with members, staff, and clients
  • Assess member health status and provide personalized exercise and wellness recommendations
  • Manage and maintain facility cleanliness and equipment
  • Teach group exercise classes and provide safe and engaging activities for members
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field preferred
  • Relevant job experience required
  • Ability to teach basic group fitness and safely prescribe exercise for older adults
  • ACSM Health/Fitness Specialist Certification preferred
  • Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification required
