Amee Bay, LLC is seeking a skilled Electrician Assistant to join our team in Chesapeake, VA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with senior electricians to develop and improve knowledge of shipboard electrical tasks.
  • Learn to read electrical drawings and diagrams.
  • Develop skills to execute clean and efficient wiring in cabinets.
  • Route cables through cableways.
  • Use calibrated tools such as multi-meters and meggers.

Requirements:

  • US Citizenship.
  • Must meet requirements to obtain a Federal Secret Clearance.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of marine/maritime related experience.
  • Ability to perform general maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Knowledge of relevant tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work aboard ships, including frequent climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License.
  • Pass drug screening as a condition of employment.

This position is located in Chesapeake, VA.
