Licensure:

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • Refer to the specific requirements for each site

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Familiarity with patient care technologies
  • Current RN license in Illinois
  • Current CPR certification
  • Certifications required for nursing specialties as outlined in the Certification Addendum

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • May require on-call duties
  • Capacity to transport patients and equipment
  • Ability to respond swiftly to patient needs in a dynamic environment
  • Work may involve exposure to challenging conditions while caring for patients
  • Ability to assist in patient evacuation during emergencies
  • Regularly interacts with potentially infectious materials and patients
  • Must be able to respond promptly to patient requests and navigate all areas of the unit
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance

Education Addendum:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • BSN preferred
  • CPR-Healthcare Provider certification
  • ACLS and/or PALS certifications as required
  • Experience in relevant specialties preferred
