Neurocritical Care Specialist

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group seeks a Neurocritical Care Physician to provide clinical care to inpatients, participate in clinical trials, and assist in education and training of support staff. The ideal candidate will have a U.S. medical degree, completion of a neurology residency and neurocritical care fellowship, and board eligibility in neurology and neurocritical care medicine. The physician will work at St. Vincents Ambulatory Center and St. Vincents Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT. The minimum requirements include a U.S. medical degree, completion of a four-year residency in Neurology, and a two-year fellowship in Neurocritical Care. The physician will be responsible for providing neurocritical clinical care to inpatients, participating in clinical trials, and assisting in education and training of support staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurology and neurocritical care, with excellent communication and teamwork skills. The physician will work closely with the medical team to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the growth and development of the neurocritical care service. The position requires a strong commitment to quality and safety, with a focus on improving patient outcomes and reducing medical errors. The physician will be responsible for documenting patient events in the EMR and completing paperwork necessary for patient billing.
