Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at OCWCOG. As a key member of our brokerage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and transportation providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess incoming client requests for transportation services and operate a multi-line telephone system to respond to client inquiries.
  • Verify client eligibility and enter data using specialized software to ensure accurate and efficient service delivery.
  • Provide general public relations to transportation providers and the public regarding our medical transportation program and other brokerage services.
  • Determine the need for additional medical or social information and request it from appropriate sources.
  • Verify a sample of all trips to ensure clients are receiving appropriate services.
  • Inform staff of client or provider abuse and coordinate with case managers to ensure necessary client eligibility information is current.
  • Coordinate resources for urgent transportation and perform a variety of clerical-related duties using Microsoft Office software.
  • Determine the most cost-effective and appropriate ride for clients and track records of documentation for long-distance bid trips.
  • Track availability of providers on a daily basis and schedule trips using specialized software.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
