Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a Patient Service Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office, providing exceptional patient care, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets patients and responds to their inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Schedules patient appointments, registers patients, and verifies demographic information.
  • Collects patient payments, prepares medical records, and maintains accurate records.
  • Provides excellent customer service, responding to patient concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintains confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements
  • One year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic computer skills and data entry experience.
