Job Overview:

The Service Banker is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to both existing and prospective clients while executing a range of transaction duties in accordance with established guidelines. Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit reliability, commitment, and respect for the team through consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor in appearance, communication, and focus.
  • May require travel to various financial centers within designated regions.
  • Welcome and assist customers upon their arrival at the Financial Center, ensuring exceptional service throughout their visit.
  • Accurately process all types of teller transactions in compliance with policies and procedures, addressing additional customer requests or service issues as needed.
  • Handle daily night drop and ATM deposits, ensuring proper balancing under dual control.
  • Safeguard teller cash in accordance with established authority levels and guidelines.
  • Work towards achieving individual sales and service objectives, meeting minimum performance standards as defined in the performance scorecard.
  • Manage cash transactions with precision to maintain an acceptable cash difference record.
  • Uphold the confidentiality of customer information in line with the Bank's Non-solicitation and Non-disclosure policies.
  • Execute operational workflows for the teller area, ensuring compliance with audit and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and Financial Center meetings as required.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Experience in retail sales/service, including cash handling, or prior teller experience is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Demonstrate and uphold a high level of professionalism.
  • Maintain a strong sense of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Exhibit excellent time management abilities.
  • Pay close attention to detail.
  • Show proficiency in computer usage.
  • Possess proactive sales and service skills, including making outbound calls to customers.
