Gastro Health is seeking a highly skilled Patient Relations Representative to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional patient experiences and maintaining a positive reputation for our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, as well as cancel or reschedule as needed.
- Work closely with healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Verify patient health plan benefits and obtain authorization as necessary.
- Assist patients with questions and concerns regarding procedures and medical records.
- Request medical records from doctors and hospitals, and obtain lab results as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of our office.
- A high school degree or equivalent is required.
- One year of experience in customer service and/or a related clinical environment is preferred.
- Dependability, punctuality, and strong communication skills are essential.
- Medical terminology knowledge is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
