Clinical Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Medical Assistant to join our team at CEENTA. As a Clinical Medical Assistant, you will provide clinical and administrative support to our physicians, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical support to our physicians, including obtaining and documenting patient information, reconciling medications and allergies, and assisting with patient examinations and treatments.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, surgeries, and in-office procedures, responding to patient messages and prescription refill requests, and indexing faxes and other documents.
- Collaborate with our healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and procedures, and participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) preferred.
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from the Certifying Board of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAM) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification from American Medical Technologists (AMT) preferred.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
This is a full-time position with core hours Mondays-Fridays, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Hours are subject to variation based upon clinic needs. Occasional travel to other CEENTA clinic locations may be required.
