Job Title: Receiving Lead

NSI Industries is seeking a highly skilled Receiving Lead to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. As a key member of our receiving and replenishment department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective coordination of all incoming shipments and merchandise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 10 or more employees in the receiving and replenishment department
  • Assist in prioritizing departmental tasks and delegate work assignments
  • Manage the removal of inbound freight from the receiving staging area in a timely manner
  • Support a busy outbound operation by managing the replenishment team to ensure accurate and timely replenishment of picking slots
  • Ensure proper certification and adherence to best practices for all forklift equipment operators
  • Monitor daily productivity performance and maintain best practice procedures
  • Communicate effectively with team members through pre-shift meetings and one-on-one communications
  • Partner with Shipping, Packaging, and Inventory departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Receive incoming product against purchase orders and complete necessary paperwork
  • Unload and receive inbound shipping containers and live load trucks
  • Organize incoming inventory deliveries for proper storage and placement
  • Stock shelves with newly packaged items from the packaging department
  • Consolidate primary and overstock locations to effectively utilize cubic space
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain area cleanliness and organization
  • Conduct physical inventories and cycle counts as required
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Lead in an e-commerce fulfillment environment
  • High school diploma or GED with college coursework or comparable business experience
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to foster a culture of integrity and teamwork
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in English
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Microsoft Office, and proprietary software
  • Ability to lead a team and work in a fast-paced environment
  • 2-5 years of recent forklift experience required
  • Good basic math skills and analytical abilities
  • Flexibility in work schedules and ability to work overtime and weekends
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly and work effectively in a warehouse environment
